Management Team

John is the Executive Chairman of HPMA. He joined HPMA in 1975, he is a licensed real estate broker, Founding Member of the National Association of Realtors’ Property Service Section, and a member of the Boulder Board of Realtors. He has been continuously involved in the real estate apartment ownership and management business since 1973. John served on the boards of numerous non-profits in the Boulder area, including Community Food Share, Boulder’s local food bank, and the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation. He has served as both board member and board president of these organizations. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1969.

Gary is a Senior Vice President of HPMA-Haven Property Managers and has been an asset manager with HPMA since 1979. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Fine Arts degree. Gary is a member of the Boulder Board of Realtors, a member of the Community Association Institute, and a licensed Colorado real estate broker.

Rob is the Chief Financial Officer for HPMA-Haven Property Managers. Prior to joining HPMA, Rob served as Controller and Director of Finance for multiple companies over the last decade and a half. Rob began his career at KPMG where he provided audit services and financial statement presentation for multiple clients. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from CW Post College and his MBA in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University. He passed the CPA exam in 1996.

Sandy has retired after 17 years with HPMA. She now assumes a consulting role for HPMA-Haven Property Managers. She joined the HPMA Management team in 2004. Sandy brings over 25 years’ experience to the position with experience in multi-family, homeowner associations, commercial properties, construction development, and all aspects of condominium conversions. Sandy has taken many property management courses and is a licensed Colorado real estate broker.
